Chicago land - the place where I live.
Intense history and up-to-date modernity - that is a Chicago.
In this theme I will share with "forumchane" some special aspects of this great city. Stay tuned!
First in this tour, the place where I bring all my first-time-visitors to - Baha'i Temple of Chicago.
I was introduced to this jaw-dropping piece of architecture/religion when I was a "first-timer" - man, was it like 10 years back from now? Some very kind lady (where are you now, Rimma?) made a spin-off drive to the Temple out of "normal" tourist routes in Chicago... since then, I do the same to every visitor, just to see their "wow" faces.
Situated in north (read - wealthy) suburbs of Chicago, practically on the Lake Michigan coast line, this spectacular Temple is something to differ civilized people from barbarians...

Note: I am not religious at all. I think that there is somebody that is bigger than we can imagine (let's call him/her god), but I don't need a formal religion to confirm this believe.
